COVID-19 – How Icon Connect have adapted!

As you know, COVID-19 is increasing across Europe and we have to face a second wave of cases which sees renewed lockdowns and travel restrictions.

This has impacted everyone and is expected to continue in the foreseeable future.

At Icon Connect, we take our responsibility as an employer and business partner very seriously, and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and partners is our priority.

Therefore, we have taken proactive measures to avoid spreading of the virus whilst maintaining high levels of service and performance in support of our clients:

  • Our employees are tested regularly for COVID-19 to ensure that they are healthy and not an infection risk in the workplace.
  • We currently have engineers and project managers successfully deployed at worksites throughout Holland, Italy, London and the South of France.
  • We are keeping pace with production schedules on 7 large yacht new-builds working in collaboration with the shipyards and accordance with their COVID-19 policies.
  • We are busy pre-engineering, programming and testing our systems at our UK workshop, including a recent successful client acceptance test (FAT) conducted entirely over video conference.

We are continuously adapting our working practices; adopting new guidance from governments and health agencies; and finding new ways to minimize travel and group exposure whilst achieving our business objectives.

Although the times are tough, our company remains strong and we have the resources and structures available to support your requirements.
